a good meal

A good meal is not just about good food. It's what happens around that meal that makes it good.
A good meal allows for great conversations to happen. A good meal allows for unplanned topics to be discussed. Meal conversations tend to lead to unguarded discussions on topics which may not have been appropriate at other times or we just did not have time to dwell upon simply because there was not enough time for those talks to lead to something else.
Meal time conversations especially during desserts are usually light and tends to lend itself to laughter. It may be the sugar or it may be because the meal has ended and it's time to just relax and enjoy the rest of the evening.

But most of all, when coffee or tea is served then that's where the adventure begins. When all the other things have been discussed sometimes one thing leads to another and an important subject suddenly comes up. After the many words that have been spoken, suddenly clarity happens.

This can happen. At the end of it good words are spoken. Great ideas are shared. And a good evening has been enjoyed by everyone.
