Christmas Series 2009

I'm developing two series for this Christmas. One for the Sundays of December and one for the Simbang Gabi.

Right now, the idea I'm working with is this: The Best Christmas Ever. 8 Ideas that will impact your Christmas this year.

Although there's traditionally 9 mornings for this tradition, we don't have simbang gabi when it falls on a Sunday.

So anyway i'll be posting in this blog the ideas. (Although I might just let the preachers share their own unique ideas)

1. Prepare for a Better Christmas
2. Rediscover what made Christmas happy for you as a child
3. Outgive people this Christmas
4. Serve the Needy this Christmas
5. Celebrate with others

Okay, so these are not catchy titles just yet, but at least i've got to start somewhere. =)

Update: So it's been decided. We are doing 8 Christmas mornings at 4:30am. And I have a couple of new ideas from the earlier post:

1. Prepare for a Better Christmas
2. Rediscover what made Christmas happy for you as a child
3. Outgive people this Christmas
4. Serve the Needy this Christmas
5. Celebrate with others
6. Sing Christmas carols
7. Give a gift this Christmas and ask them not to give you something back (ala pay it forward)
8. Make Christmas preparations as a family
9. Visit a hospital (plan an unexpected visit)
10. Remember those who can't be home this Christmas (OFWs,Military,etc)
